Sustainable electrical engineering for a future-ready world

Why choose a GHUSS consumer unit?

1. Certified quality and long service life

GHUSS stands for certified quality, long-term reliability and lasting peace of mind. The distribution board is CE marked and KEMA/DEKRA certified, and comes with a 10-year warranty. The enclosure is made from high-quality plastic designed for long-term use. Thanks to this durable material, the board has an expected service life of at least 50 years. This makes GHUSS a durable and reliable choice for any modern electrical installation. The combination of certification, warranty and material strength makes GHUSS suitable for installers

and end users who refuse to compromise on safety, quality and service life.

2. The most complete distribution board: everything is already included

GHUSS is the most complete consumer unit in its class. While many consumer units require extra accessories, separate entry pieces, cable glands, spacers or coupling components, GHUSS has already integrated the key features into its design. The enclosure is designed as a plug-and-play solution for installers: unpack, fit, connect and get on with the job. With integrated conduit entries, side entries, earthing options, raised DIN rail, passive ventilation, sealability and modular coupling, installers need fewer loose parts. That saves time, prevents installation errors and results in a neater installation. GHUSS is therefore not only faster to install, but also more organised, complete and future-proof. Key benefit: No unnecessary accessories. No extra hassle. Everything integrated into one complete consumer unit.

3. More space and a lower risk of overheating

GHUSS provides more space around and between the components. This makes installation easier and allows cables to be routed more clearly, with more room and a neater finish. The extra space helps distribute heat more effectively throughout the consumer unit. With cables and components less tightly packed together, heat is less likely to build up. This reduces the risk of overheating and helps ensure the installation operates reliably. For installers, this means faster work, easier wiring and a neater finished installation. For end users, it means a safer, more future-proof electrical installation.

4. Maximum conduit entry and earthing options

GHUSS offers more conduit entries and earthing options than any other product in its class. This gives electricians maximum flexibility when routing conduits, organising wiring and creating a safe, tidy installation. The smart positioning of the conduit entries makes it quicker and easier to connect conduits neatly and in straight runs. This makes GHUSS particularly suitable for installations where ease of installation, flexibility and future-proofing matter. In short: More conduit entries. More earthing options. More flexibility for the electrician.

5. Eight smart side cable entries without glands

GHUSS has more side entries than any other product in its class: eight in total, four on each side. This lets installers easily feed cables in from the left or right, without making unnecessary modifications to the enclosure. The side entries are easy to remove and include integrated M16, M20 and M25 openings. Thanks to the smart push-out sections, the openings can be sized without tools. This means separate cable glands are not needed for many applications. When connecting two or more GHUSS distribution boards, the removable side entries make it easy to pass cables between the enclosures. This lets you connect multiple distribution boards quickly, neatly and flexibly.

6. The strongest, most stable DIN rail construction

GHUSS has the strongest and most stable DIN rail construction in its class. The DIN rail is designed for maximum strength, so circuit breakers, RCBOs, main switches and other modular components can be mounted securely and reliably

. In addition, GHUSS offers the most generous DIN rail layout in its class. The raised position creates extra space behind and around the components. This makes wiring easier, improves cable routing, makes installation more convenient and improves air circulation. The DIN rail can be removed easily without tools. This gives installers quicker access to the space behind it, making installation, inspection and maintenance significantly

easier. The DIN rail structure is made from high-quality polycarbonate plastic, also known as PC. This material has a glass transition temperature of approximately 150°C and is known for its strength, dimensional stability and heat resistance.

7. Integrated passive ventilation and cooling

GHUSS features integrated passive ventilation to help regulate the temperature inside the consumer unit. An innovative design in the back plate naturally directs heat generated inside the unit outwards. This passive cooling helps limit heat build-up and supports a more stable operating environment for components and wiring. It keeps the temperature inside the consumer unit better controlled, without a fan or moving parts. The system is quiet, low-maintenance and reliable. Integrated passive ventilation therefore helps ensure the safety, durability and long-term performance of the electrical installation.

8. Secure-fitting, sealable cover

GHUSS has a cover that closes securely, firmly and reliably. The cover screws are threaded, allowing the cover to be fastened in a controlled and precise manner. This prevents loose fixings and keeps the consumer unit neatly closed during use. At the same time, the unit remains easy to access for inspection, maintenance or expansion. GHUSS consumer units can also be sealed for added security, inspection and professional handover. After installation, inspection or testing, the unit can be sealed to prevent unauthorised access. For installers, this provides a neat and verifiable handover. For end users, it offers added peace of mind that the consumer unit has been securely and professionally closed.

9. Truly modular thanks to patented technology

GHUSS is truly modular thanks to the patented technology integrated into the distribution board. This allows multiple distribution boards to be easily and securely coupled together. The boards can be smoothly positioned in multiple coupling positions. This makes GHUSS particularly suitable for installations where space is limited, such as under a stairwell, in a narrow meter cupboard, or in complex renovation situations. Due to this smart modular design, the installation can easily grow with future expansions, such as solar panels, a charging station, a heat pump, a home battery, or additional circuits.

10. Available in multiple versions

GHUSS consumer units are suitable for a range of installation requirements, from compact installations and more extensive home installations to installations that need to be ready for future expansion. GHUSS is available in several configurations, including 6-module, 12-module, 24-module and 2x6-module consumer units.

Possible configurations include:

● 12-module consumer unit

● 24-module distribution board

● Options with 3 or 5 bottom cable entries

● Expandable versions for solar panels, EV chargers or heat pumps
